The primary election is coming up Aug. 2.

The primary election is coming up Aug. 2. Here are a few important dates to keep in mind leading up to Election Day:

July 12: Last day to register to vote in the primary

July 13: Advance ballots by mail begin to be mailed for registered voters that requested one

July 19: Early in-person voting begins at the Harvey County Courthouse

July 26: Last day to request an advance by mail ballot

Aug. 1: Early in-person voting ends at noon.

There is a constitutional amendment question on the primary ballot. Registered voters do not have to have a party affiliation to be able to cast a vote on this question. An unaffiliated ballot will be available to those voters at their polling site.
