On Saturday, April 26, former Valley Center High School standout Sykora Smith’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 12-4 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Illinois State Redbirds.

The game took place at Marian Kneer Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Redbirds this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 27 at 12 p.m. at Marian Kneer Stadium against Illinois State Redbirds.
