Valley Center High School standout Lucy Hooper’s college team lost in NCAA Division I softball game on Saturday, May 3

On Saturday, May 3, former Valley Center High School standout Lucy Hooper’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 8-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Michigan Wolverines.

The game took place at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Wolverines this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m. at Jane Sage Cowles Stadium against Michigan Wolverines.
