Threshers finish second at KCAC Championships

The Bethel College Cheer team finished second at the KCAC Championships hosted on the campus of Friends University.


The Threshers found themselves in second place after the prelim round with a score of 81.2, their highest total of the season.

In their championship round, Bethel was able to improve up to an 82, but were unable to get to the top of the leader board. 

The Threshers had 42% of their team earn KCAC honors. 

Michayla Contreras, Isaiah Gayden and Kaylon Hamilton were named First Team All-KCAC selections.

Aaron Aery was a Second Team All-KCAC selection.

Madison Mitchell and Sierra Rudman earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC.

The Threshers will now wait to see if they earn an NAIA National Meet at-large bid.
