Sunday, March 9: Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s college team wins to UW La Crosse Eagles

On Sunday, March 9, former Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the UW La Crosse Eagles.

The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their second matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 11 a.m. at Alumni Field against Tufts Jumbos.
