Saturday, March 22: Valley Center High School standout Lucy Hooper’s college team loses to Nebraska Cornhuskers

On Saturday, March 22, former Valley Center High School standout Lucy Hooper’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, lost 8-3 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

The game took place at Bowlin Stadium. This was their second matchup against the Cornhuskers this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 23 at 12 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
