On Friday, Feb. 21, former Valley Center High School standout Lucy Hooper’s current college team, the Minnesota Golden Gophers, won 3-1 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Missouri Tigers.

The game took place at Big League Dreams Sports Park. This was their first matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Golden Gophers’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 12 p.m. at Big League Dreams Sports Park against Duke Blue Devils.
