Friday, Feb. 21: Valley Center High School standout Sykora Smith’s college team wins to Morehead State Eagles

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Valley Center High School standout Sykora Smith’s current college team, the Northern Iowa Panthers, won 11-5 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Morehead State Eagles.

The game took place at Pepsi Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Eagles this season.

The Panthers’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Pepsi Stadium against Furman Paladins.
