Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s college team won in NCAA Division III baseball game on Sunday, March 16

On Sunday, March 16, former Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 10-5 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Tufts Jumbos.

The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their fifth matchup against the Jumbos this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 21 at 3 p.m. at Ben Hines Field against La Verne Leopards.
