On Friday, March 14, three former Valley Center High School standouts, including Alex Gillig, DJ Michaud and Jared Newton’s current college team, the Newman Jets, won 4-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Missouri Western Griffons.

The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their first matchup against the Griffons this season.

The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 15 at 1 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Missouri Western Griffons.
