Alex Gillig, alongside two other former Valley Center High School standouts, played on Tuesday, March 11 in NCAA Division II baseball game for Newman Jets

On Tuesday, March 11, three former Valley Center High School standouts, including Alex Gillig, DJ Michaud and Jared Newton’s current college team, the Newman Jets, won 15-14 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Southern Nazarene Crimson Storm.

The game took place at McCarthy Field. This was their third matchup against the Crimson Storm this season.

The Jets’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 14 at 2 p.m. at McCarthy Field against Missouri Western Griffons.
