On Saturday, Feb. 22, former Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 16-6 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Chapman Panthers.

The game took place at Alumni Field. This was their third matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Friday, Feb. 28 at 2 p.m. at Alumni Field against Redlands Bulldogs.
