Friday, Feb. 21: Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s college team wins to Chapman Panthers

On Friday, Feb. 21, former Newton High School standout Justin Zerger’s current college team, the Pomona-Pitzer Sagehens, won 13-2 in their NCAA Division III baseball game against the Chapman Panthers.

The game took place at W.O. Hart Park. This was their first matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Sagehens’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 22 at 11 a.m. at Alumni Field against Chapman Panthers.
