When asked why Hesston, Larry Ruffin ’24 replied without hesitation, “I see my personal walk with Christ being here. There is a lot he is wanting me to learn and this place is a perfect environment to do that. I stay because of the community, but I feel like God wants me to be right here.” As a bible major at Hesston, Larry has discovered a passion in the Apologetics and defending the Christian faith. In addition to his Bible education, Larry plays for the Lark men’s basketball team, assists with the campus worship team and still finds time to play the pianos around campus.
