#4 Ranked Johnson County Proves Tough Test For Larks

Hesston College was unable to overcome the firepower of #4 ranked Johnson County Community College losing 81-30. The leading scorers for the Larks were Freshman Kaley Phillips and Sophomore Corbin Parnell, who had eight points each. Johnson County had two 20-point scorers on the night in Lisa Thomas (22) and Mackenzie Hart (20). They were able to force Hesston into 19 turnovers resulting in 21 points for Johnson County. Hesston was able to make the fourth quarter their strongest by scoring 10 points while forcing four turnovers on the Cavaliers.

Johnson County shot over 52 percent from the field in the first quarter building a 19 point lead.
