August is National Breastfeeding Month. Back in 2018, Harvey County was recognized as a Community Supporting Breastfeeding by the Kansas Breastfeeding Coalition Inc. The Harvey County Courthouse and Harvey County Health Department buildings are both locations that have dedicated spaces to support breastfeeding, as well as employee policy to support and promote time for breastfeeding.
