July is Park and Recreation Month

0Comments

July is Park and Recreation Month, and today, the Harvey County Commission approved a proclamation recognizing our parks systems at the local level. Harvey County is home to many, many parks, big and small, that are vital to fostering warm, welcoming, educational environments for all ages, residents and visitors alike.

The proclamation was also an opportunity for our commission to give thanks to our Harvey County Parks staff for their tremendous day-to-day work to maintain our three county parks. Celebrating National Park and Recreation Month is pretty easy – just get out and enjoy some time in your local parks!
